I Know What I Did Last Vacation
This is basically what I’ve done on my vacation:
* Watched like 1000 hours of House, which I am considering henceforth referring to as “Hizzy”
* Played something like 20 games of Dominion with my parents
* Watched 00 Holmes - Ninja Detective, featuring many entertaining action movie tropes, including the action movie line by Watson (while restraining a hooligan of sorts): “Don’t worry. I’m a DOCTOR.” This movie was not, as I had previously believed, a dark mystery drama focusing on the homohomo overtones of Watson and Holmes’s relationship, but rather an action movie featuring characters from Sherlock Holmes novels.
* Started another Bill Bryson book (the one about Europe). Bryson is brilliant.
* Watched a bunch of videos, which I recommend, from my brother’s youtube favorites
* Read a lot about Lady Gaga for some reason. She’s kind of interesting, particularly for responding to a question about (baseless) rumors regarding her being a secret dude with “Yeah I have a big donkey dick.”
* Identified discoloration in one of my parents’ cats’ eyes which the vet says might be a tumor. It’s possible she will soon become Pirate Cat.
* Ate at Montano’s, which has some of the best food in the region. If you’re ever around Roanoke, look it up.
What did you do?

Drove two hours in the snow to deliver a Christmas present by hand, see 00 Holmes Ninja Detective with someone other than me, myself, and I, eat sushi, then turn around and drive back this time without snow but with dark.
My legs are kind of sore from driving.

Spent time with friends for the most part. Ate out a lot, Louisville has kind of an awesome restaurant scene. Heading back to Cleveland for New Years with the GF.
Spent a lot of time listening to how much Keystone Light my friends drink…

Played a large amount of Rock Band, at first with experienced friends, but later with complete noobs. It doesn’t actually matter, the game is still fun.
Post-Christmas, spent a large amount of time playing Pokemon in Japanese. Also sleeping. Lots of sleeping.

Spent time with my family, turned twenty-six, relaxed in front of the fire, went Christmas caroling for shut-ins, saw old friends of the family, talked on the phone to my fiance.

Bit of a late addition, since my lazy ass is just finishing up vacationing down here south of the Red River.
* Had 75 degree weather on my birthday, followed by two weeks of the coldest winter Texas has had in 20 years (46 degree average high, which seems rather balmy after 5 years of being in Cleveland for most of the winter). Laughed at everything shutting down from a little ice on the roads.
* Watched a lot of football. Turns out that the family and friends I see down here are a lot more into it than just about anyone I know in Cleveland. Counting this Saturday, I’ll have watched four straight Cowboys games, which I think is the most ever for me. Also, the BCS Championship game *sad face*
* Ate several times at local Tex-Mex establishments. Hard to pass up.
* Finished the SNES RPG Terranigma, which I started playing about 9 years ago.
* Slept and slept and slept.
